City's 50th birthday photo to be taken at last Live at Lakeview concert

Lavish Green and Black Star Safari willper form at the series finale of the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series, Thursday, August 27.

“It’s bittersweet to see this season come to an end, but we have a lot to celebrate this Thursday!” States Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. “The City of South Lake Tahoe is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary, Lavish Green is celebrating their 20th anniversary and Live at Lakeview concludes a successful four seasons of live music with four more on the horizon!”

Local rockers, Black Star Safari will start off the final show of the season at 4:30 pm. Just before Lavish Green takes the stage at 6:00 pm, the City of South Lake Tahoe will invite the community to participate in a 50th Anniversary Birthday Photo. Tahoe Production House will fly a drone above the crowd to capture our community as we celebrate!

This Thursday concludes the fourth season of the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series at Lakeview Commons. In addition to some of South Lake Tahoe’s finest live music entertainment, this Thursdays finale event will feature over a dozen local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden.

Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered.
