Fun Runs This Weekend

The City of South Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Tri Club have partnered to provide a series of three fun runs this Fall season including Tahoe’s Freakin’ Fun Run, Turkey Trot and Jingle Jog.

The 1st Annual “Tahoe’s Freakin’ Fun Run” will be held this Sunday, October 13th at Lake Tahoe Community College Playfields located at 1300 Al Tahoe Blvd. The Fun Run will begin at 10am and participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween attire with prizes for Best Costume and Most Ridiculous Costume being awarded.

The long running “Turkey Trot” will be held on Sunday, November 17th at Bijou Community Park located at 1201 Al Tahoe Blvd. with races beginning at 10am. Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving themed costumes with awards for Best Costume and Most Ridiculous Costume.

The 1st Annual “Jingle Jog” will be held on Sunday, December 15th beginning at 10am at Lakeview Commons located at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Highway 50. Awards will be given to participants in holiday themed attire.
