Shaping up to be a Sunday Funday to hit the slopes with Winter Snow Conditions… Chance of Snow & possibly Rain in the Afternoon… Dress with a Goretex Jacket or Shell… Plenty of Machine Groomed & Skier/Rider Packed Snow. Take the Orange or Rose tinted Goggles today… Have Fun & Be Safe!
TODAY’S WEATHER (NWS GREATER LAKE TAHOE AREA): Mostly Cloudy. Slight chance of Snow in the morning, then chance of Snow and Rain in the afternoon. Snow level rising to 6500 feet. Highs: 43F to 53F. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. Ridge gusts up to 60 mph.
TONIGHT: Snow and Rain likely in the evening, then snow after midnight. Snow level 6500 feet lowering to lake level. Snow accumulation up to 4 inches… with 3 to 6 inches above 7000 feet. Lows: 24F to 34F. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Ridge gusts up to 75 mph.
MONDAY: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Snow showers in the morning, then chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs: 37F to 42F. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the morning. Ridge gusts up to 65 mph in the morning.
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress warm layers with a Gore-Tex Jacket or outer Shell. Take a hat
or beanie and wear a Helmet for Safety. Also wear Good Goggles and warm gloves. Don’t forget to use Sunscreen & Chapstick when the sun is out and Stay Hydrated at altitude!

Be able to avoid objects and people in your Path! Please stop to side of the run where it is safe and always check uphill for skiers and riders before restarting down hill. The Yurt is open (10-4) at Pickett’s Junction for XC & Snowshoe rentals. 10 miles of Groomed XC & Snowshoe trails available and over 30km of Skier-Packed trails including Red Lake & Carson Pass areas.
